Your Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership:
- Lead and manage the financial operations of the company across all locations.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives and growth.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive team.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, and report on variances.
- Conduct financial modelling to predict future financial trends and performance.
- Financial Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Present financial results to senior management and stakeholders.
- Oversee internal and external audits.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all operating countries.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Manage financial risks, including currency fluctuations and credit risk.
- Team Management:
- Lead and develop a team of accountants, controllers and invoicing specialists.
- Assign tasks, set goals, and evaluate performance of the financial team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
- Operational Collaboration:
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Support operational decisions with financial analysis and insights.
- Drive cost-savings initiatives and process improvements across the organisation.
- Strategic Initiatives:
- Participate in strategic planning and execution of company-wide initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for financial growth and improvement.
- Lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other investments.
- Group Reporting (Culina)
- Prepare and present financial reports and updates to the Group.
- Ensure alignment of financial practices and reporting standards with the Group’s requirements.
- Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to the Group.
- S4HANA Implementation:
- Lead the European end-to-end implementation of S4HANA Finance
- Serve as the key project lead, overseeing all aspects of the project, including timeline management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive and logistics sectors is an asset.
- Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work strategically and operationally.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Willing to travel abroad.
